Our 3-Month Itinerary Around the World – From Tokyo to the Highlands

Greetings! It’s been a while since Kelly and I have posted, but over the last few months, we’ve been planning a three-month adventure through Asia and Europe.

For the first half of trip we will be traveling in Asia! We fly to Tokyo in just a few days. While we haven’t finalized all of our day trips and activities yet, we have booked all of our accommodations. From Tokyo, we’ll take the train to Kyoto and Osaka. After Japan, we’ll fly to Busan, South Korea, and then take the train to Seoul. Next, we’ll travel through Vietnam, stopping in Hanoi, Phong Nha, and Ho Chi Minh City. From there, we head to Siem Reap in Cambodia, and finally, to Bangkok, Thailand.

After that whirlwind adventure in Asia, and with all that time off work, we’ll transition to Europe, where we’ll settle into a slower pace and start working remotely again (at least until one last hurrah at the end).

We’ll spend two and a half weeks in Ljubljana, Slovenia, enjoying the city we’ve come to love. Next we’ll check out the Baltics for the first time, spending 2 weeks in Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius. Finally, we’ll head to Scotland for one more week of remote work before renting a car and wrapping up our journey with a road trip through the Highlands!
