Kelly and I made a fun discovery while searching for what to do during our last day of travel through Michigan. A “Best Places to Go in Michigan” article revealed this location as the 17th best place to go :).

Welcome to Frankenmuth!

It was a delightful diversion from the longer drive. Even the hotels were themed in a Bavarian Castle style… It was super silly.

Frankenmuth also has another big claim to fame. It contains the world’s largest Christmas store, Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland. Considering Kelly and I spent 2018’s Christmas in Bavaria, we aren’t sure that Frankenmuth totally holds up. But this was a ton of fun! And our pictures don’t do it justice. The amount of attention to detail was similar to Disney’s Epcot Center.
